000 TTAA00 KSTL 230024 SVRSTL MOC103-111-230115- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ST LOUIS MO 724 PM CDT MON SEP 22 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF NORTHEAST MISSOURI...LEWIS AND SOUTHRN KNOX AT 720 PM CDT RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES SOUTH OF EDINA MISSOURI IN SOUTHERN KNOX COUNTY MOVING EAST AT 35 MPH. REMEMBER A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAN PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH..LARGE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTNING..AND HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD LOW LYING AREAS. AT 600 PM..INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING INTO PARTS OF NORTH CENTRAL MISSOURI FROM 20 MILES NORTHWEST OF MOBERLY TO KIRKSVILLE AND ACROSS NORTHERN MISSOURI. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE VERY HEAVY RAINS THAT CAN CAUSE FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS AND SMALL CREEKS OR STREAMS.
