...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR MONTGOMERY AND GASCONADE COUNTIES
UNTIL 600 AM CDT...

VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING THROUGH CENTRAL MISSOURI EARLY
THIS MORNING. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE NORTH AND EAST OF A LINE FROM
JUST EAST OF KANSAS CITY TO ABOUT 50 MILES SOUTH OF COLUMBIA MOVING
SOUTHEAST AT 35 MILES AN HOUR. NO SEVERE WEATHER HAS BEEN REPORTED
IN CENTRAL MISSOURI YET TONIGHT...HOWEVER THE THREAT IS STILL POSSIBLE
ESPECIALLY OVER EAST CENTRAL SECTIONS OF THE STATE. HEAVY RAIN AND VERY
DANGEROUS LIGHTNING IS LIKELY OVER CENTRAL MISSOURI FOR THE REST OF THE
NIGHT.
