EFFECTIVE UNTIL 420 AM CDT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF
WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS... ADAMS
NORTHEAST MISSOURI... MARION... MONROE... PIKE... RALLS... SHELBY
RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO FALL FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS. THE GROUND
IS SATURATED AND FLASH FLOODING HAS BEEN REPORTED. IN HANNIBAL
...SOME CARS ARE SUBMERGED AND SOME RESIDENTS HAVE BEEN MOVED TO
HIGHER GROUND.

AT 730 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN WAS MOVING THROUGH THE QUINCY/HANNIBAL AREA WITH OVER AN INCH LIKELY. THIS COMBINED WITH THE ALREADY SATURATED SOIL POSES A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE PAST MIDNIGHT. PERSONS SHOULD BE ON THE ALERT FOR RAPIDLY RISING WATERS AND BY NO MEANS SHOULD ANYONE CROSS FLOWING WATER. DYER
