THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 705 AM CST FOR THE FOLLOWING PARISHES IN

EAST CENTRAL LOUISIANA...AVOYELLES AND ST. LANDRY.

AT 600 AM CST RADAR INDICATED A VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORM NORTHEAST
OF VILLE PLATTE.  THE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING gNORTHEAST AT 45 MPH
AND WILL PASS OVER AVOYELLES AND ST. LANDRY PARISHES DURING THE
NEXT HOUR.
