THE TYLER COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTED A TORNADO 5 MILES WEST OF WOODVILLE AND 1 INCH 7 MILES WEST OF WOODVILLE. PERSONS AROUND WOODVILLE SHOULD TAKE COVER NOW. DCG

SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PORT ARTHUR TX 610 PM CST WED FEB 5 1986 ...TRAVELERS ADVISORY FOR TRI-PLEX THIS EVENING... DENSE SEA FOG WAS MOVING INTO SABINE PASS AROUND 545 PM THIS AFTERNOON. THE FOG WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTHWARD INTO PORT ARTHUR AND POSSIBLY BEAUMONT AND ORANGE AS THE EVENING PROGRESSES. THE VISIBILITY WILL DIMINISH TO NEAR ZERO AS THE FOG MOVE INLAND CAUSING A HAZARD TO MOTORISTS AND SHIP AND BARGE TRAFFIC IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS WATERWAYS AND TO AIRLINES. AN APPROACHING COLD FRONT THAT IS PUSHING A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS TOWARD THE TRI-PLEX WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA AROUND MIDNIGHT PUSHING THE FOG BACK TO SEA. DCG
