FLASH FLOOD WARNING
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PORT ARTHUR TX
400PM CDT SUN JUN 8 1986

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
JEFFERSON COUNTY TEXAS AND FOR THE CITY OF BEAUMONT IN PARTICULAR.

EARLY RAINS HAD CAUSED STREET FLOODING AND FILLED THE DRAINAGE SYSTEM.
RADAR SHOWS MORE HEAVY RAIN DEVELOPING OVER THE CITY.  THIS WILL CAUSE
FLOODING WITH WATER LIKELY TO GET INTO HOMES.  THE WEST END OF
BEAUMONT IS THE MOST LIKELY TO FLOOD.

TRAVEL IS NOT ADVISED.
