000 TTAA00 KLBF 311325 SVRLBF NEC111-113-311400- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORTH PLATTE NE 825 AM CDT THU JUL 31 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA...EASTERN LINCOLN AND LOGAN AT 8 AM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 15 MILES NORTH OF NORTH PLATTE NEBEASKA MOVING TOWARDS THE SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH. IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES...GET TO A REINFORCED SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR STRONG DAMAGING WIND..LARGE HAIL..VERY HEAVY RAIN AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. REMEMBER...THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT!! REPORTS OF SEVERE WEATHER OR DAMAGE CAN BE GIVEN TO A LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY FOR RELAY TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.. AT 732 AM CDT A VERY INTENSE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING INTO LOGAN AND MCPHERSON COUNTIES IN NEBRASKA. THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORM WAS 25 MILES NORTHWEST OF NORTH PLATTE NEBRASKA. THIS THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH. THIS THUNDERSTORM WILL BE IN THE NORTH PLAATE AR,EA ABOUT 830 AM CDT THIS THURSDAY MORNING. THIS STORM COULD PRODUCE MODERATE TO HEAVY RAINFALL AND SMALL HAIL. HORN
