000 TTAA00 KLBF 100049 SVRLBF NEC057-100130- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORTH PLATTE NE 749 PM CDT MON JUN 9 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 830 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF SOUTHWEST NEBRASKA...SOUTHWEST DUNDY AT 635 PM PM MDT RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM 7 MILES SOUTHWEST OF HAIGLER NEBRASKA MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH. IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES...GET TO A REINFORCED SHELTER AND PREPARE FOR STRONG DAMAGING WIND..LARGE HAIL..VERY HEAVY RAIN AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. REMEMBER...THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT!! MULLEN NEBRASKA 53 MILES SOUTHWEST OF VALENTINE NEBRASKA HAS REPORTED .62 HUNDREDTHS OF A INCH FROM A THUNDERSTORM AND IS CONTINUING TO RAIN MODERATE TO HEAVY. IN NORTH PLATTE NEBRASKA THE WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE REPORTED .22 OF AN FROM A THUNDERSHOWER WHILE AN UNOFFICIAL REPORT 15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF THE WEATHER SERVICE OFFICE REPORTED 1.25 INCHES FROM THE SAME STORM.
