000 TTAA00 KOFK 080132 SVROFK NEC107-080200- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NORFOLK NE 832 PM CDT WED MAY 7 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF NORTHEAST NEBRASKA...NORTHERN KNOX AT 830 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN CENTRAL AND NORTHERN KNOX COUNTY OR ABOUT 50 MILES NORTHWEST OF NORFOLK. THE STORMS WERE MOVING NORTH AT 30 MPH AND SHOULD HAVE MOVED INTO SOUTH DAKOTA BY 9 PM CDT. AT 815 PM CDT THREE QUARTER INCH HAIL WAS REPORTED IN NIOBRARA IN NORTHERN KNOX COUNTY. THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TO'RNADO WITH LITTLE OR NO WARNING...SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY. TORNADO WATCH NUMBER 135 REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR ALL OF NORTHEAST NEBRASKA UNTIL 11 PM CDT. BOWMAN 0130Z
