SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE VALENTINE NE 835 AM CDT THU SEP 18 1986 THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR SOUTHERN CHERRY COUNTY OF NORTH- CENTRAL NEBRASKA HAS BEEN REISSUED AND WILL BE IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 AM CDT THIS THURSDAY MORNING. AT 815 AM CDT...RADAR SHOWED THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS 30 MILES WEST OF MULLEN NEBRASKA MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH. THIS STORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL VERY HEAVY RAINS AND DAMAGING WI7NDS. THE TRACK OF THIS STORM WILL TAKE IT ALONG THE SOUTHERN PART OF CHERRY COUNTY...PERSONS IN SOUTHERN CHERRY COUNTY SHOULD REMAIN ALERT FOR THIS STORM AND GO TO A SAFE PLACE IF THIS STORM IS SPOTTED.
