THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 735 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING
COUNTY OF

NORTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...NORTHEAST CHERRY AND THE TOWN OF VALENTINE

AT 605 AM CDT RADAR INDICATED SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS 15 MILES NORTHWEST
OF VALENTINE MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

REMEMBER A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAN PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 60 MPH..LARGE HAIL..DEADLY LIGHTING AND VERY HEAVY RAINS THAT CAN
QUICKLY FLOOD LOW LYING AREAS.

THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A +TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR
NO ADVANCE WARNING..SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO A
PLACE OF SAFETY IF ONE IS SPOTTED.
