THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1200 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS...WHITE

VERY HEAVY RAIN HAS CAUSED FLOODING IN WHITE COUNTY THIS
MORNIG. CARMI REPORTED OVER 3 AND A HALF INCHES OF RAIN. ROUTE
ONE HAD 3 FEET OF WATER IN SOME SPOTS AND MANY OTHER ROADS IN
WHITE COUNTY WERE COVERED WITH WATER.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR HAS BEEN
REPORTED. TAKE THE NECCESSARY PRECAUTIONS AS REQUIRED. REPORTS
OF FLASH FLOO~DING SHOULD BE GIVEN TO THE NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT
AGENCY FOR RELAY TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE.
