000 TTAA00 KRFD 282214 SVRRFD ILC203-007-282315- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ROCKFORD IL 514 PM CDT SUN SEP 28 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 615 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...NORTHEAST WINNEBAGO AND NORTHERN BOONE AT 720 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH A POSSIBLE FUNNEL CLOUD WAS REPORTED BY THE WINNNEBAGO COUNTY SHERRIFS DEPARTMENT. THE STORM WAS MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST AT 25 MPH. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAN PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS OF 60 MPH OR OR GREATER.. LARGE HAIL.. DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A qLOW LYING AREA. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE TORNADOES. SO BE ALERT! IF A TORNADO IS SIGHTED OR A TORNADO WARNING IS ISSUED..
