000 TTAA00 KRFD 222341 SVRRFD ILC015-141-230045- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ROCKFORD IL 641 PM CDT MON SEP 22 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 745 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS...EASTERN CARROLL AND WESTERN OGLE AT 627 PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR ABOUT 5 MILES EAST OF MT CARROL IN CARROL COUNTY...WHICH IS ABOUT 50 WEST SOUTHWEST OF ROCKFORD. THE STORM WAS MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH. TRESS AND POWER LINES WERE REPORTED DOWN WITH THIS STORM. SOME COMMUNITIES AFFECTED BY THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM... LANARK...SHANNONM...FORRESTON. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAN PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS OF 60 MPH OR OR GREATER.. LARGE HAIL.. DANGEROUS LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA. ATTN:ISP DIST 1 SANDERS
