THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 345 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

CENTRAL ILLINOIS...SOUTHERN MORGAN AND NORTHERN MACOUPIN

AT 255 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 35 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF SPRINGFIELD ILLINOIS NEAR MURRAYVILLE ILLINOIS.
THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR.

REMEMBER..A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM PRODUCES DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 60 MPH...LARGE HAIL...DEADLY LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAINS THAT CAN
QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.

...STRONG THUNDERSSTORMS IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS....
AT 1 35 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS IN CENTRAL
ILLINOIS.  THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE ON THE SCOTT AND MORGAN COUNTY
LINE AND MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.
THE STRONG STORMS WILL BE MOVING EAST THROUGH MORGAN COUNTY BETWEEN
2 40 AND 3 30 PM AND MAY BE ACCOMPANIED BY STRONG GUSTY WINDS..
POSSIBLY SOME HAIL AS WELL AS LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AND DANGEROUS
LIGHTENING.
