THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 730 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

NORTHWEST ILLINOIS...SOUTHERN CARROLL AND NORTHERN WHITESIDE

AT 7 PM RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM ABOUT 5 MILES
NORTHEAST OF CLINTON IOWA IN THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF WHITESIDE
 COUNTY. MOVEMENT WAS EAST AT 15 TO 20 MPH.

MARBLE SIZE HAIL AND DOWNED TREE LIMBS WERE REPORTED IN
CLINTON IOWA AT 655 PM CDT.

 SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:
 DAMAGING WINDS OF 58 MPH OR MORE..HAIL 3/4 INCH IN DIAMETER OR
 LARGER. TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LOWLAND AND
 URBAN FLOODING MAY ALSO ACCOMPANY THIS STORM.

STORMS NORTH OF A LINE FROM NEAR RANTOUL,ILLINOIS TO JUST SOUTH
OF DANVILLE,ILLINOIS.

THE STRONGEST THUNDERSTORMS WERE JUST NORTHEAST OF RANTOUL,ILLINOIS
IN CHAMPAIGN COUNTY.

THE AREA OF SHOWERxS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH.
