000 TTAA00 KMSN 280214 SVRMSN WIC021-280300- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MADISON WI 914 PM CDT SUN JUL 27 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1000 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN...COLUMBIA AT 8 55 PM CDT RADAR SHOWED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM NEAR THE WISCONSIN DELLS AREA..AT 9 00 PM CDT THE ADAMS COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTED THAT A LARGE TREE WAS DOWN IN THE DELLS AREA. THE STORMS WERE MOVING TO THE EAST SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH. SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND DEADLY LIGHTNING. TORNADOES CAN ALSO DEVELOP FROM SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. AT 530 PM CDT A VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED IN NORTHERN MARINETTE COUNTY 30 MILES NORTHWEST OF THE CITY OF MARINETTE AND ANOTHER VERY STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED IN EASTERN FOREST COUNTY JUST BEGINNING TO MOVE INTO NORTHERN MARINETTE COUNTY. THE STORMS ARE MOVING EAST AT 25 MPH AND WILL BE MOVING THROUGH THE NORTHERN HALF OF MARINETTE COUNTY BETWEEN 530 PM AND 630 PM CDT. THE STORMS WILL PASS TO THE NORTH OF THE CITY OF MARINETTE. STRONG GUSTY WINDS..DANGEROUS LIGHTNING..HEAVY RAINS.. AND HAIL CAN BE EXPECTED AS THESE STORMS PASS OVERHEAD. BB
