THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN...DANE

AT 542 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 5 MILES SOUTH
OF BARABOO MOVING TO THE SOUTHEAST AT ABOUT 35 MPH.  THIS STORM
IS ON THE SOUTHWEST END OF A LINE THAT EXTENDS FROM THE BARABOO
AREA TO SOUTH OF MARKESAN OR ABOUT 20 MILES NORTHWEST OF MADISON TO
35 MILES NORTH NORTHEAST OF MADISON.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...AND
DEAD@LY LIGHTNING. TORNADOES CAN ALSO DEVELOP FROM SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS. IF THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES TAKE SHELTER
IMMEDIATELY.
