A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR 10 MILES NORTH OF ATWOOD
KANSAS MOVING SOUTH ABOUT 15 MILES AN HOUR.

REMEMBER A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAN PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 58 MILES AN HOUR..HAIL 3/4 INCH IN DIAMETER OR GREASTER..DEADLY
LIGHTING AND RAINFALL THAT CAN QUICKLY FLOOD LOW LYING AREAS.

AT 525 PM CDT STRONG THUNDERSTORM WERE ALONG THE KANSAS NEBRASKA BORDER
ABOUT 20 MILES NORTH NORTHEAST  OF ATWOOD KANSAS. THIS STORM WAS MOVING
SOUTHEAST ABOUT 20 MILES AN HOUR AND WOULD LIKELY MOVE INTO EASTERN
RAWLINS COUNTY EAST OF ATWOOD BY AROUND 6 PM CDT THIS EVENING.

THIS STORM COULD PRODUCE STRONG WINDS..DEADLY LIGHTING...AND HEAVY RAINS
ALONG WITH SOME HAIL.

ANOTHER STORM WAS DEVELOPING ABOUT 15 MILES NORTHEAST OF COLBY KANSAS.
