000 TTAA00 KGRI 262217 TORGRI NEC121-262245- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED/EBS ACTIVATION REQUESTED TORNADO WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE GRAND ISLAND NE 417 PM CST SAT APR 26 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 445 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF CENTRAL NEBRASKA...EASTERN MERRICK AT 4 15 A POSSIBLY TORNADO WAS INDICATED BY RADAR JUST SOUTHWEST OF CLARKS NEB. MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH PERSONS IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD TAKE SHELTER IN A BASEMENT IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR. CARS AND MOBILE HOMES SHOULD BE ABANDONED. PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY TO SAVE YOUR LIVES. IF YOU ARE CAUGHT IN THE OPEN..TRY TO HIDE IN A DEPRESSION LIKE A DITCH OR CULVERT.
