A POSSIBLE TORNADO WAS INDICATED BY RADAR OVER NELSON MOVING TO THE NORTHEAST< AT 30MPH. PERSONS IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD TAKE SHELTER IN A BASEMENT IF AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR. CARS AND MOBILE HOMES SHOULD BE ABANDONED. DER

AT 330 PM CST THUNDERSTORMS HAD INCREASED OVER WEST CENTRAL AND WERE MOVING INTO CENTRAL NEBRASKA. THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN WERE 10 TO 20 MILES SOUTH OF BROKEN BOW..THIS STORM WILL BE MOVING INTO MILLER AROUND 345PM. MILLER IS ABOUT 40 MILES NORTHWEST OF KEARNEY. IT WILL BRING HEAVY RAIN..AND HAIL WITH PASSAGE. ANOTHER THUNDER STORM WITH HEAVY RAIN AND MARBLE SIZED HAIL WAS AT OVERTON WHICH IS 30 MILES WEST OF KEARNEY. THESE STORMS WERE PART O?F A 70 MILE WIDE AREA FROM SOUTH OF AINSWORTH..SOUTH TO NEAR HILL CITY KANSAS. MOVMENT WAS TO THE NORTHEAST AT 35MPH. DER
