THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A TORNADO WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 440 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF

SOUTH CENTRAL NEBRASKA...EASTERN BUFFALO AND EASTERN SHERMAN

AT 4 PM CDT NUMEROUS REPORTS OF FUNNELS AND A FEW TORNADOES BY THE
PUBLIC AND POLICE JUST WEST OF KEARNEY 2 MILES SOUTH OF RAVENNA
MOVING TO THE NORTH AT 25 MPH.

PERSONS IN THE WARNED AREA SHOULD TAKE SHELTER IN A BASEMENT IF
AVAILABLE.  OTHERWISE GO TO A SMALL INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST
FLOOR.  CARS AND MOBILE HOMES SHOULD BEQ ABANDONED.

PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS TORNADO SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY
TO SAVE YOUR LIVES.
