   NEBRASKA AND A PART OF NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS UNTIL 1000 PM CDT...

AT 730 PM CDT A SMALL BUT INTENSE AREA OF THUNDERSTORMS WAS MOVING INTO
NORTHWEST SECTIONS PF CENTRAL NEBRASKA.  THE AREA WAS 40 MILES IN
DIAMETER AND CENTERED 20 MILES NORTH OF BROKEN BOW.  IT WAS MOVING SOUTH-
EAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR WITH ONE STORM MOVING ACROSS BROKEN BOW AROUND
800 PM THIS EVENING.
ANOTHER STRONG THUNDERSTORM WAS 15 MILES WEST OF NORTH PLATTE IN WESTERN
NEBRASKA.  IT TOO WAS MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MILES AN HOUR AND HAD BEEN
INTENSIFYING.
OTHER INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE SCATTERED ABOUT NORTHWEST KANSAS.  THESE
WERE IN AN AREA 25 MILES WIDE THAT STRETCHED FROM 50 MILES NORTHEAST OF
HILL CITY TO 45 MILES SOUTH SOUTHWEST OF HILL CITY.  THESE STORMS WERE
MOVING 2EAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.

CENTRAL AND WESTERN NEBRASKA AND NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS.  THE AREA WAS 115
MILES WIDE STRETCHING WEST OF A LINE FROM 25 MILES SOUTHEAST OF AINSWORTH
TO NEAR ORD TO 35 MILES SOUTH OF HASTINGS NEBRASKA.  THE STRONG THUNDER-
STORMS WERE...25 MILES SOUTHEAST OF AINSWORTH...5 MILES NORTH OF ORD...
10 TO 15 MILES EAST AND SOUTHEAST OF BROKEN BOW...IN THE HOLDREDGE
VICINITY...10 MILES SOUTH OF NORTH PLATTE...AND ALONG THE KANSAS NEBRASKA
BORDER...SOUTH OF HASTINGS...ALL IN NEBRASKA AND IN KANSAS...50 MILES
NORTHEAST OF HILL CITY.  ALL THESE INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST
SOUTHEAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR.  MOST OF qTHESE STORMS HAVE HAD PEA TO
MARBLE SIZE HAIL AND HEAVY RAINS AS THEY PASSED AND THE STORM JUST SOUTH
OF NORTH PLATTE NEBRASKA HAD A FUNNEL CLOUD ASSOCIATED WITH IT.

AT 935 PM CDT SCATTERED INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUED ACROSS A LARGE
PORTION OF CENTRAL AND INTO WESTERN NEBRASKA AND PART OF NORTH CENTRAL
KANSAS.  THE AREA OF STORMS WAS WEST OF A LINE FROM ONEILL TO 15 MILES
WEST OF COLUMBUS TO 20 MILES WEST OF FAIRBURY IN NEBRASKA.  IT EXTENDED
WEST FOR ABOUT 150 MILES.  IN KANSAS...THE AREA OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS
WAS 40 MILES WIDE STRETCHING FROM 40 MILES NORTH OF CONCORDIA TO 40 MILES
SOUTH SOUTHWEST OF HILL CITY.  ALL THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT
25 MILES AN HOUR.
THE MOST INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE IN NEBRASKA...25 MILES WEST OF
COLUMBUS...15 MILES SOUTHWEST OF HASTINGS...FROM 45 TO 80 MILES WEST
SOUTHWEST OF GRAND ISLAND...AND\ 25 MILES WEST OF FAIRBURY.  ALL OF THESE
STORMS HAD PRODUCED HEAVY RAINS AND PEA TO MARBLE SIZE HAIL.

SEVERE WEATHER HAD BEEN REPORTED IN THE LOCAL AREA...BUT RESIDENTS
SHOULD REMAIN ALERT FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
DEVELOPING ABRUPTLY.  PLEASE LISTEN TO LOCAL RADIO...TELEVISION...OR
