SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORT WORTH TX 525 PM CDT TUE MAY 6 1986 ...THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPING RAPIDLY IN WESTERN PORTION OF NORTH TEXAS... AT 520 PM CDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF RAPIDLY DEVELOPING THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE WESTERN PORTION OF NORTH TEXAS. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE ENTERING THE WESTERN PORTIONS OF STEPHENS AND EASTLAND COUNTIES. THE ATMOSPHERE ACROSS NORTH TEXAS IS VERY UNSTABLE AND THESE THUNDERSTORMS COULD CONTINUE TO DEVELOP DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS. RESIDENTS OF STEPHENS AND EASTLAND COUNTIES CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS AND POSSIBLY SOME HAIL FROM THESE STORMS. THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WILL CONTINUE TO CLOSELY MONITOR THESE THUNDERSTORMS.
