...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM FOR
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST TEXAS..INCLUDING MCLENNAN
AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES...

AT 2:50 PM WEATHER RADAR SHOWED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS FROM NORTH
OF CORSICANA TO NORTH OF ABILENE. NO THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WAS
INDICATED IN THE MCLENNAN AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES AT THE
PRESENT TIME. INTENSE STORMS ARE CONTINUING TO DEVELOP FROM NEAR
ABILENE TO THE MINERAL WELLS AREA AND MOVING EAST AND SOUTHEAST.

PERSONS IN OR NEAR THE WATCH AREA SHOULD CONTINUE TO MONITOR NOAA
WEATHER RADIO OR LOCAL TV/RADIO STATIONS FOR LATER UPDATES IN
THE EVEYNT WARNINGS ARE REQUIRED.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH HAS BEEN REISSUED FOR PORTIONS OF
CENTRAL AND EAST TEXAS. THE WATCH WILL BE IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM
THIS EVENING AND INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...BELL..BOSQUE..
CORYELL..HILL..FALLS..MCLENNAN..LIMESTONE..LEON..BRAZOS..ROBERTSON..
AND MADISON...

AT 6:50 PM..THE WACO RADAR WAS OUT OF SERVICE.  HOWEVER OTHER
WEATHER SERVICE RADARS SHOWED AN INTENSE THUNDERSTORM IN FREESTONE
COUNTY BEGINNING TO MOVE INTO LEON COUNTY. THIS STORM IS LIKELY
TO PRODUCE STRONG GUSTY WINDS..DANGEROUS LIGHTNING..HAIL..
AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. OTHER THUNDERSHOWERS WERE OVER SOUTEAST
MADISON COUNTY MOVING SOUTHEAST.

FURTHER WEST..INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE NORTHWEST OF THE STEPHENVILLE
AREA MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH.
