      ...THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER ACROSS NORTH TEXAS TODAY...

THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR VIOLENT THUNDERSTORMS TO DEVELOP ACROSS
PORTIONS OF NORTH TEXAS TODAY AND TONIGHT. THIS MORNING..WEATHER
SERVICE FORECASTERS CONTINUED TO MONITOR A VIGOROUS UPPER LEVEL STORM
SYSTEM CENTERED OVER SOUTHEAST ARIZONA THAT WILL BE TRACKING INTO WEST
CENTRAL TEXAS THIS AFTERNOON. AT THE SURFACE..WARM AND VERY UNSTABLE
GULF AIR WAS MOVING NORTHWARD BEHIND A WARM FRONT THAT STRETCHED
ALONG A LONGVIEW TO ABILENE LINE.

LATER THIS AFTERNOON..THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ALONG A
FRONTAL BOUNDARY..CURRENTLY LOCATED OVER WEST TEXAS..WHICH SEPARATED
DRIER AIR OVER WEST TEXAS FROM THE WARM..MOIST..AND UNSTABLE AIR OVER
THE REST OF TEXAS.

THE MOST THREATENING THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE DAMANGING WINDS
AND LARGE HAIL.  DEADLY LIGHTNING AND HEAVY RAINS WILL ALSO ACCOMPANY
THESE THUNDERSTORMS.

THIS APPEARS TO BE A MAJOR SEVERE WEATHER THREAT FOR ALL OF NORTH
TEXAS BOTH TODAY AND THIS EVENING.  RESIDENTS ARE URGED TO KEEP A
WATCHFUL EYE ON THE SKY AND CONTINUE MONITORING THE6 LATEST WEATHER
INFORMATION FROM YOUR NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE.
