...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM FOR
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST TEXAS..INCLUDING MCLENNAN
AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES...

AT 2:50 PM WEATHER RADAR SHOWED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS FROM NORTH
OF CORSICANA TO NORTH OF ABILENE. NO THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WAS
INDICATED IN THE MCLENNAN AND SURROUNDING COUNTIES AT THE
PRESENT TIME. INTENSE STORMS ARE CONTINUING TO DEVELOP FROM NEAR
ABILENE TO THE MINERAL WELLS AREA AND MOVING EAST AND SOUTHEAST.

PERSONS IN OR NEAR THE WATCH AREA SHOULD CONTINUE TO MONITOR NOAA
WEATHER RADIO OR LOCAL TV/RADIO STATIONS FOR LATER UPDATES IN
THE EVEYNT WARNINGS ARE REQUIRED.
