SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT AND RADAR SUMMARY NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HURON SD 140 PM CDT SAT JUN 21 1986 AT 130 PM CDT...NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS...SOME WITH HEAVY RAIN...CONTINUED OVER NORTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA AND SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA. THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE IN A 25 MILE WIDE LINE FROM NEAR FARGO NORTH DAKOTA TO 15 MILES NORTH OF HURON SOUTH DAKOTA. ALTHOUGH THESE STORMS HAD WEAKENED...HEAVY RAIN AND STRONG WIND IS STILL POSSIBLE WITH THE LINE. THE LINE WAS MOVING EAST AT 25 MILES AN HOUR. ALSO...NUMEROUS LIGHT RAINSHOWERS HAD DEVELOPED OVER CENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA. THE SHOWERS WERE IN A 10 MILE WIDE AREA FROM 35 MILES SOUTH WEST OF ABERDEEN TO 45 MILES yWEST OF HURON. THE MOVEMENT OF THESE SHOWERS HAD NOT YET BEEN DETERMINED. SPRINGER
