1155 PM CDT SAT JUL 12 1986

BETWEEN 1100 AND 1155 PM CDT INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS HAD DEVELOPED
IN SOUTHCENTRAL SOUTH DAKOTA AROUND THE CHAMBERLAIN AREA...OR ABOUT
55 TO 60 MILES WEST OF MITCHELL. THESE INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WILL
MOVE EAST AT 30 MPH AND WILL PRODUCE HEAVY RAINS..AND POSSIBLY GUSTY
WINDS TO 40 MPH AND SMALL HAIL. THEY WILL REACH THE KIMBALL AREA BY
1230 PM CDT.

OTHER THUNDERSTORMS HAD ALSO POPPED UP OVER SOUTHEASTERN SOUTH DAKOTA
BEFORE THE MIDNIGHT HOUR. THESE THUNDERSTORMS SHOWED A POP CORN PATTERN
AND WERE LOCATED FROM SOUTH OF MITCHELL TO NORTH OF SIOUX CITY IOWA.
THESE THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD ALSO MOVE EAST/SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

DANGEROUS LIGHTNING IS LIKELY WITH ANY OF THE THUNDERSTORMS. SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO POP UP THROUGH OUT THE NIGHTTIME
HOURS ACROSS PARTS OF SOUTH DAKOTA.
