THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 945 PM EDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

CENTRAL GEORGIA...BIBB...PEACH AND HOUSTON

AT 840 PM A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED NEAR MACON DRIFTING
SLOWLY SOUTH. THIS THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCEK WINDS IN EXCESS OF
50 MILES AND HOUR. FLOODING OF STREETS AND LOW DRAINAGE AREAS CAN
ALSO BE EXPECTED.

AT THE LEWIS WILSON AIRPORT IN MACON, GEORGIA. OVER AN INCH OF RAIN
HAS FALLEN IN A TWENTY MINUTE PERIOD SINCE THE HEAVY RAIN BEGAN.
THIS THUNDERSTORM IS DRIFTING VERY SLOWLY SOUTH.

THIS THUNDERSTORM WILL PRODUCE FLOODING OF STREETS AND LOW LYING AREAS
NEAR DRAINAGE AND RUNOFF AREAS. MOTORIST SHOULD SLO;W AND DRIVE WITH
CAUTION WITH STANDING WATER ON ROADWAYS...AND AVOID DRIVING THROUGH
DEEP WATER IN LOW AREAS.
