THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 510 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

TEXAS...GOLIAD

AT 410 PM CST A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR
JUST WEST OF GOLIAD MOVING TOWARDS THE SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH.

THIS THUNDERSTORM SHOWS SIGNS OF LARGE HAIL AND VERY HEAVY
RAINFALL.

FREQUENT LIGHTNING..STRONG DAMAGING WIND AND POSSIBLE HAIL MAY
ACCOMPANY THIS STORM.

...SHOWERS AND THUNDERSHOWERS DEVELOPING NORTHWEST OF CITY...

AT 1235 PM CST WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED THAT AN AREA OF SHOWERS
AND THUNDERSTORMS WAS FORMING NORTHWEST OF SAN ANTONIO.  THIS AREA
EXTENDED FROM MEDINA LAKE NORTHEAST TO SAN MARCOS.  THIS AREA WAS
MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MILES AN HOUR.  AT THE PRESENT RATE OF MOVEMENT
THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS SHOULD BE MOVING INTO THE SAN ANTONIO
METROPOLITAN AREA WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR.

BRIEF HEAVY RAINS AND GUSTY WINDS CAN BE EXPECTED WITH THE PASSAGE
OF THESE STORMS.  ADDITIONAL STATEMENTS WILL BE ISSUED AS CONDITIONS
WARRANT.
