000 TTAA00 KSAT 020008 SVRSAT TXC029-187-493-020115- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN ANTONIO TX 708 PM CDT MON SEP 1 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS...EASTERN BEXAR...WESTERN GUADALUPE AND NORTHERN WILSON AT 705 PM CDT..A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WAS INDICATED BY RADAR ON THE BEXAR-WILSON COUNTY LINE..SOME 15 MILES SOUTHEAST OF SAN ANTONIO. THIS THUNDERSTORM WAS MOVING TOWARD THE NORTH AT 10 MPH. FREQUENT LIGHTNING..STRONG DAMAGING WINDS AND LARGE HAIL WILL LIKELY OCCUR IN THIS STORM. IN ADDITION..LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AND FLOODING OFTEN ACCOMPANY SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS. BOATERS AND FISHERMEN ON CALAVERAS..BRAUNIG AND MCQUEENEY LAKES SHOULD MOVE OFF THE WATER AND TO SAFE HARBOR ON SHORE AT ONCE. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL..GUSTY SURFACE WINDS AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING WILL ACCOMPANY THESE THUNDERSTORMS.
