THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND
SPECIAL MARINE WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 PM CST FOR PEOPLE IN THE
FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

TEXAS...SOUTHERN CALHOUN
...THIS WARNING ALSO INCLUDES THE ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS FOR THE
COUNTY JUST MENTIONED

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING
FOR THE BAYS OF CALHOUN COUNTY OF TEXAS UNTIL 815 PM.

AT 635 PM VICTORIA RADAR INDICATED HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS OCCURRING
NEAR PORT OCONNOR TO THE SAN ANTONIO BAY TO ARANSAS BAY. THUNDER
STORMS WITH WINDS GUSTING TO 45 KNOTS ARE POSSIBLE IN TH NEXT HOUR
OVER THESE WATERS. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING TOWARD THE EAST
AT 20 MILES AN HOUR.

 FREQUENT LIGHTNING..STRONG DAMAGING WIND AND POSSIBLE HAIL MAY
 ACCOMPANY THIS STORM.

 SMALL BOST OPERATORS IN THE BAYS OF CALHOUN COUNTY SHOULD RETURN
 TO SHORE AT ONCE.

 MARINE INTERESTS IN CALHOUN COUNTY...ESPECIALLY LAVACA AND SAN
 ANTONIO BAYS..SHOULD LISTEN FOR FUTURE STATEMENTS OR WARNING
 SHOULD THEY BECOME NECESSARY. CURRENT INDICATIONS ARE THAT THIS
 LINE WILL REACH THESE BAYS DURING THE NEXT ONE TO TWO HOURS..
