THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1100 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS...KERR

ALTHOUGH RAINS HAVE DIMINISHED OVER KERR COUNTY...FLOODING FROM THE
RESULTING MASSIVE RUNOFF CONTINUES ACROSS THE WESTERN PORTIONS OF
THE COUNTY...ESPECIALLY IN AND AROUND THE CITY OF HUNT.  A RISE IN
THE GUADALUPE RIVER TO NEAR 12 FEET...WHICH IS FLOOD STAGE...HAS
BEEN REPORTED WITHIN THE LAST HOUR NEAR THE CITY.  IN ADDITION...
STATE HIGHWAY 39 AND FM 1340 REMAINED CLOSED DUE TO THE FLOODING.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR HAS BEEN
REPORTED.  TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS AS REQUIRED TO PROTECT LIFE
AND PROPERTY.

REMEMBER..DEATHS DURING FLASH FLOODING ARE FREQUENTLY RELATED TO
MOTORISTS DRIVING INTO FLOODED LOW WATER CROSSINGS.

IMMEDIATELY.  YOU SHOULD ASK THE NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY
