NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SAN ANTONIO TX
552 AM CDT THU JUN 19 1986

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING 
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 900 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

SOUTH CENTRAL TEXAS...UVALDE

HEAVY RAIN HAS PERSISTED ACROSS NORTHWESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL
UVALDE COUNTY FOR THE PAST TWO HOURS.  THE UVALDE SHERIFFS OFFICE
REPORTS THAT LOW WATER CROSSINGS ALONG HIGHWAY 83 IN THE NORTH
CENTRAL PORTION OF THE COUNTY ARE BECOMING DANGEROUS AND THAT
FLASH FLOODING IS LIKELY WITHIN THE HOUR.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR HAS BEEN
REPORTED.  TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS AS REQUIRED TO PROTECT LIFE
AND PROPERTY.

REMEMBER..DEATHS DURING FLASH FLOODING ARE FREQUENTLY RELATED TO
MOTORISTS DRIVING INTO FLOODED LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
