THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF

TEXAS...BURNET

AT  830 PM CDT VERY HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING NORTHEASTWARD
ACROSS BURNET COUNTY. SEVERAL LOW WATER CROSSINGS ARE FLOODED
AND A BRIDGE IS OUT ON MORGANS CREEK. THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO
FORM AND MOVE ACROSS THE ALREADY SATURATED AREA AND SERIOUS
FLOODING MAY OCCURR.

REMEMBER THAT DEATHS DURING FLASH FLOODING ARE OFTEN RELATED TO
MOTORISTS DRIVING THROUGH FLOODED LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
