THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM AND FLASH FLOOD WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL  945 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES:
 
IN SOUTHWEST TEXAS
          ..WESTERN EL PASO

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH PEA SIZED HAIL AND HEAVY RAIN IS CAUSING
FLOODING OF LOW AREAS IN THE LA UNION AND NORTHWEST EL PASO AREA.
 
THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE MOVING SLOWLY TO THE SOUTHEAST AND POSE THE
THREAT OF ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN LARGE HAIL AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS.
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCE DAMAGING WIND IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH,
DESTRUCTIVE HAIL, DEADLY LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN.  FOR YOUR
PROTECTION MOVE TO AN INTERIOR ROOM ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF YOUR
HOME OR BUSINESS.  HEAVY RAINS FLOOD 2ROADS QUICKLY SO DON'T DRIVE
INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
