THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 815 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

NORTHEAST KANSAS...WYANDOTTE AND SOUTHERN LEAVENWORTH

AT 744 PM CDT RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 35 MILES
SOUTHWEST OF KANSAS CITY MOVING TOWARD THE NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH
..LARGE HAIL..FREQUENT LIGHTNING..AND HEAVY RAIN THAT CAN QUICKLY
FLOOD SMALL STREAMS AND LOW LYING AREAS.

BE ALERT FOR RAPIDLY RISING WATER.  STAY AWAY FROM FLOODING CREEKS..
STREAMS AND STORM DRAINS.  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO WALK OR DRIVE THROUGH
