THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1230 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

SOUTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHERN LEE

AT 1210 PM CDT..HAIL UP TO ONE INCH IN DIAMETER WAS REPORTED
AT KEOKUK, IOWA..25 MILES SOUTHSOUTHWEST OF BURLINGTON IOWA.

NWS RADAR AT MOLINE SHOWED A STRONG THUNDERSTORM JUST SOUTH-
WEST OF KEOKUK MOVING TO THE EAST AT 35 TO 40 MPH.

 SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAN PRODUCE ANY OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:
 DAMAGING WINDS OF 58 MPH OR MORE..HAIL 3/4 INCH IN DIAMETER OR
 LARGER. TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LOWLAND AND
 URBAN FLOODING MAY ALSO ACCOMPANY THIS STORM.

 THIS STORM IS ACCOMPANIED BY FREQUENT INTENSE LIGHTNING. SEEK
 SHELTER IN A BUILDING OR CAR. IF OUTSIDE..DO NOT MAKE YOURSELF
 TALLER TH-AN YOUR SURROUNDINGS.
