000 TTAA00 KMLI 290550 COR SVRMLI IAC087-057-111-290645- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOLINE IL..CORRECT FOR TIME... 1243 AM CDT TUE JUL 29 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 130 AM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTHEAST IOWA...SOUTHERN HENRY...SOUTHERN DES-MOINES AND LEE AT 1230 AM CDT. RADAR INDICATED A SMALL CLUSTER OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS LOCATED IN SOUTHEAST IOWA OVER JEFFERSON AND VAN BUREN COUNTIES. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 40 MILES PER HOUR. HEAVY RAIN AND DAMAGING WINDS HAVE BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH THESE STORMS AS THEY MOVED ACROSS PARTS OF SOUTHEAST IOWA EARLIER TONIGHT. INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE BEGINNING TO MOVE INTO PARTS OF EXTREME SOUTHEAST IOWA. AT 1145 PM INTENSE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED OVER SOUTHERN WASHINGTON AND NORTHEAST JEFFERSON COUNTIES OF SOUTHEAST IOWA. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR AND WILL BE MOVING ACROSS HENRY COUNTY IOWA BETWEEN MIDNIGHT AND 1AM.
