1043 PM CDT SUN JUN 15 1986

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 1145 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTIES OF

NORTH CENTRAL IOWA...MITCHELL AND WORTH

AT 1037 PM CST RADAR SHOWED AN INTENSE THUNDERSTORM 25 MILES NORTH
OF MASON CITY IOWA ALONG THE IOWA..MINNESOTA BORDER.  THIS INTENSE
THUNDERSTORM HAS PRODUCED GOLF BALL SIZE HAIL.  THIS STORM IS
MOVING SOUTHEAST AROUND 40 MILES AN HOUR.

THIS THUNDERSTORM WILL LIKELY PRODUCE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH AND
HAIL 3/4 INCH OR LARGER IN DIAMETER.

REMEMBER..BESIDES LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS..SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS
CAN ALSO PRODUCE TORNADOES.

 PEOPLE IN WORTH AND MITCHELL COUNTY SHOULD TAKE COVER IMMEDIATELY.
 THIS STORM IS VERY DANGEROUS.  TO REPORT SEVERE WEATHER CALL THE
 NEAREST LAW CENTAER.

MONDAY MORNING.

AT 930 PM THERE WERE NO THUNDERSTORMS IN IOWA...HOWEVER...HEAVY
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE ENTERING THE STATE AROUND SIOUX CITY BY ABOUT
10 PM...AND AROUND THE ONAWA AREA...OR 25 MILES SOUTH OF SIOUX CITY
BY AROUND 1030 PM.
