SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DODGE CITY KS 340 PM CDT WED SEP 10 1986 THUNDERSTORMS HAVE BEGUN BUILDING RAPIDLY DURING THE PAST HOUR IN EASTERN PORTIONS OF SOUTHWEST KANSAS. AT 330 PM CDT THE ACTIVITY IS LIMITED TO A SINGLE STORM MASS JUST TO THE SOUTH AND SOUTHWEST OF DODGE CITY IN NORTHEASTERN MEADE AND NORTHWEST CLARK COUNTIES. AT THE PRESENT TIME THERE IS NO INDICATION OF SEVERE ACTIVITY WITH THE DEVELOPING STORM7S. MOVEMENT OF THE INDIVIDUAL THUNDERSTORM CELLS IS NORTHEAST AT 25MPH. THIS MOVEMENT SHOULD BRING THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY INTO SOUTHERN FORD COUNTY WITHIN THE NEXT HOUR. GHOLSON
