AT 515 PM CDT A STRONG THUNDERSTORM COVERED MOST OF EASTERN HODGEMAN COUNTY. THE CENTER OF THE STORM WAS NEAR HANSTON KANSAS OR ABOUT 30 MILES NORTHEAST OF DODGE CITY KANSAS IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS. HEAVY RAIN STRONG WINDS OF 30 TO 40 MPH AND SMALL HAIL CAN ACCOMPANY THIS STORM AS IT MOVES NORTHEAST AT ABOUT 30 MILES AN HOUR. THIS STORM WAS ON THE SOUTH END OF A LINE OF STORMS THAT EXTEND NORTHEAST FROM NORTH OF DODGE CITY TO NEAR RUSSELL KANSAS. THIS THUNDERSTORM AT DODGE WAS PART OF A CURVED LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS THAT EXTENDS SOUTH FROM ROZEL KANSAS IN PAWNEE COUNTY THROUGH DODGE CITY TO COPELAND KANSAS IN SOUTHWEST GRAY COUNTY.
