000 TTAA00 KDDC 162252 COR SVRDDC KSC007-033-097-162244- BULLETIN - IMMEDIATE BROADCAST REQUESTED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DODGE CITY KS 549 PM CDT FRI MAY 16 1986 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 644 PM CDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES OF SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS...NORTHWEST BARBER...COMANCHE AND SOUTHEAST KIOWA AT 545PM CDT A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CONTINUED FROM 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF COLDWATER TO 10 MILES SOUTHEAST OF GREENSBURG. THIS THUNDERSTORM IS LIKELY PRODUCING LARG HAIL DANGEROUS WINDS AND POSSIBLE TORNADOES. MOVEMENT NORTHEAST AT 5 TO 10 MPH. PEOPLE IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM SHOULD MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY. DAMAGING WINDS...LARGE HAIL...HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE LIKELY.
