AT NOON NWS RADAR INDICATED A CLUSTER OF HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS OVER EASTERN REFUGIO AND NORTHERN ARANSAS COUNTIES.HEAVIEST STORMS WERE BETWEEN THE CITIES OF REFUGIO AND AUSTWELL. THESE STORMS WERE DRIFTING VERY SLOWLY TOWARD THE NORTH. LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN..BRIEF GUSTY WINDS..AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING WILL ACCOMPANY THESE STORMS. EARLIER REPORTS OF POSSIBLE FUNNEL CLOUDS WITH THIS THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY HAVE NOT BEEN VERIFIED AND NO ADDITIONAL REPORTS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED. RESIDENTS..AND PERSONS ENGAGED IN OUTDOOR ACTIVITIESz IN REFUGIO AND ARANSAS COUNTIES SHOULD REMAIN ALERT FOR THREATENING WEATHER CONDITIONS FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS AND SEEK SAFE SHELTER AS CONDITIONS WARRANT.
