THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
EFFECTIVE UNTIL 640 PM EDT FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTY OF
 
OHIO... PAULDING
 
AT 540 PM NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER WESTERN PAULDING COUNTY.  THIS THUNDERSTORM
WAS MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.
 
THESE THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE LARGE HAIL.. HEAVY RAINS..
DAMAGING WINDS AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING.

SHELBY OHIO MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH.

 THE THUNDERSTORM WILL MOVE ACROSS RICHLAND COUNTY BETWEEN 320PM EDT
AND 4PM.

 THE THUNDERSTORM HAS THE CAPABILITY TO PRODUCE VERY HEAVY DOWNPOURS
WHICH COULD CAUSE SOME FLOODING OF STREETS AND SMALL STREAMS.

HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS MOVING INTO MAHONING AND COLUMBIANA
COUNTIES.

HEAVY THUNDERSTORMS IN WESTERN MAHONING COUNTY WERE MOVING
SOUTHEAST AT 40 MILES AN HOUR. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WILL
MOVE THROUGH COLUMBIANA BY 430 PM.

THESE STORMS WERE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING STRONG GUSTY WINDS..
HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND SMALL HAIL.

345 PM EDT FRI JUN 27 1986

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF WESTERN OHIO
UNTIL 10 PM EDT.

THE WATCH IS FOR THAT PART OF OHIO WEST OF A LINE FROM TOLEDO TO 10
MILES EAST OF XENIA.

AT 340 PM EDT WEATHER RADAR SHOWED A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS FROM
YOUNGSTOWN, THROUGH AKRON, MANSFIELD AND FINDLAY TO THE OHIO-INDIANA
BORDER. THE STORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH WHILE THE LINE WAS
DRIFTING SLOWLY SOUTH.

THE STRONGEST STORMS WERE BETWEEN FINDLAY AND FOSTORIA, IN THE
MANSFIELD AREA AND BETWEEN AKRON AND CANTON.

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR SUMMIT COUNTY UNTIL
410 PM EDT. THERE WERE SOME REPORTS OF TREE LIMBS DOWN AND SMALL HAIL
IN STOW AROUND 3 PM EDT.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP IN OHIO DURING THE REST OF THE
AFTERNOON AND EVENING AND THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA MAY BE
EXP,ANDED.

PEOPLE IN OHIO SHOULD BE ALERT TO CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS AND MOVE
TO A SAFE PLACE QUICKLY SHOULD THREATENING WEATHER BE SIGHTED.
