LUCAS AT 1223 PM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A POSSIBLE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER NORTHERN LUCAS COUNTY MOVING SOUTH AT 30 MPH. THESE THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE LARGE HAIL.. HEAVY RAINS.. DAMAGING WINDS AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING. KSL

^CLESPSTOL SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TOLEDO OH 1120AM EDT THU JUN 19 1986 SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE CONTINUING TO MOVE TOWARDS NORTHWEST OHIO LATE THIS MORNING. AT 1115 AM WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM JUST NORTH OF DETROIT MICHIGAN SOUTHWESTWARD TO JUST NORTH OF SOUTH BEND INDIANA. MOVEMENT OF THIS LINE WAS SOUTH-SOUTHEAST AT 30 MPH. THESE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO NORTHWEST OHIO BETWEEN 12 AND 1230 PM THIS AFTERNOON. PAST SURFACE REPORTS INDICATE THAT VERY HEAVY RAIN AND WINDS AROUND 30 MPH HAVE BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH THIS ACTIVITY. PEOPLE THROUGHOUT NORTHWEST OHIO SHOULD BE} PREPARED FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER CONDITIONS THE NEXT SEVERAL HOURS AS WELL AS HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS AT TIMES DUE TO THE POSSIBLE HEAVY RAINS.
