THESE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE MOVING INTO NORTHERN WILLIAMS COUNTY BY 12 0'CLOCK THIS AFTERNOON. THESE THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN, STRONG GUSTY WINDS, AND POSSIBLY SMALL HAIL. THE HEAVIEST THUNDERSTORM WAS LOCATED NEAR MONTPELIER, IN CENTRAL WILLIAMS COUNTY. THESE THUNDERSTORMS MAY PRODUCE HEAVY RAIN, STRONG GUSTY WINDS, AND POSSIBLY SMALL HAIL. SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CLEVELAND OH 330 PM EDT TUE MAY 6 1986 AT 325 PM EDT WEATHER RADAR SHOWED TWO AREAS OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS. ONE AREA WAS OVER LAKE ERIE, INLAND THROUGH THE ERIE PENNSYLVANIA TO NEAR LAKE PYMATUNING. THE OTHER STRONG STORMS WERE DEVELOPING IN EXTREME NORTHWEST OHIO, 35 MILES WEST OF TOLEDO. THE THNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST-NORTHEAST AT 40 MPH. THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO DEVELOP IN NORTHWEST OHIO AND A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH WILL BE IN EFFECT FOR THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF THE STATE UNTIL 9 PM EDT. A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR LAKE ERIE FROM FAIRPORT HARBOR TO RIPLEY NEW YORK UNTIL 345 PM EDT.
