THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 
WARNING EFFECTIVE UNTIL 700 PM MDT FOR PEOPLE IN THE FOLLOWING 
COUNTY OF

NORTHEAST COLORADO...NORTHERN WASHINGTON

THIS WARNING INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING TOWNS AND CITIES... AKRON.

AT 555 PM MDT WEATHER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 30 MILES
SOUTH OF STERLING NEAR THE TOWN OF AKRON.

THE STORM IS MOVING TO THE NORTH NORTHEAST AT 15 MILES PER HOUR.

REMEMBER...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAN PRODUCE LARGE HAIL...DAMAGING
WINDS OF OVER 60 MPH...DEADLY LIGHTNING...AND HEAVY RAINS THAT CAN
QUICKLY FLOOD A LOW LYING AREA.

THESE STORMS CAN AND OCCASIONALLY DO PRODUCE A TORNADO WITH LITTLE OR
NO ADVANCE WARNING...SO BE ON THE LOOKOUT AND BE PREPARED TO MOVE TO
