 A TORNADO WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1100PM EDT TONIGHT.

THUNDERSTORMS WHICH MAY CONTAIN HEAVY DOWNPOURS..STRONG GUSTY WINDS AND
DANGEROUS LIGHTNING WERE IN EASTERN BERKS AAND EASTERN PIKE COUNTIES IN
PENNSYLVANIA..AND ALONG THE NEW YORK..VERMONT BORDER EAST OF GLENS
FALLS.

THEY WERE PART OF AN AREA OF SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THAT
EXTENDED FROM KINGSTON IN THE HUDSON VALLEY..SOUTHWEST ACROSS THE
POCONOS TO NEAR READING PENNSYLVANIA.

THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH.

THROUGH LIVINGSTON AND ALLEGANY COUNTIES OF NEW YORK.

THESE STORMS WILL MOVE INTO STEUBEN COUNTY BETWEEN 710 AND 730PM THIS
EVENING.

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE NORTHWESTERN HALF OF NEW
YORK UNTIL 11PM TONIGHT.
